Vegan Prime Rib(less) from Washed Flour 2By JenThis is a new version of my original vegan prime rib(less) roast made from washing flour. I subbed out fresh beetroot for powder to yield a firmer texture, as well as added more beefy flavoring to the mix. Still fancy enough for your holiday table, but easy enough to be enjoyed more often.
Vegan Roast Turkey II | Washed Flour SeitanBy JenThis is a slight variation to my first washed flour turkey recipe. I left out the mushrooms, started with a little more flour for a larger yield, and slightly adjusted the amount of seasonings and tofu. I really twisted the dough when knotting this one and wrapped in a cheesecloth to keep it from expanding in my slow cooker. I think this improved the texture, giving it a better "meat grain," but it's still just as flavorful and juicy as the original.
Vegan Prosciutto | Washed Flour SeitanBy JenThis vegan seitan prosciutto is just like I remember the real thing. It's salty, savory, and even a little bit funky. It's simple, yet elegant enough for your next charcuterie, or wrapped around your favorite fruits or veggies.
Best Vegan HamBy JenThis vegan ham by The Cheeky Chickpea is made with wheat gluten and tofu. Delicious, juicy, meaty, Tofurky-style seitan roast recipe for your plant-based holiday meal, or slice as deli meat for ham sandwiches! So easy!
Vegan Prime Rib(less) from Washed FlourBy JenThis vegan prime rib(less) roast made from washing flour has an amazing meaty texture and beefy flavor. It's fancy enough for your holiday table, but easy enough to be enjoyed more often.
Vegan Holiday RoastBy JenMake your festive dinner complete with this Vegan Holiday Roast from Vegan Huggs. It's filled with savory stuffing and finished with a mouth-watering glaze.
Washed Flour Roast TurkeeBy JenLooking for a new twist on vegan roast turkey? Try making it from washed flour! The texture is spot-on, the flavor is impeccable (without a hint of that gluteny taste), and it's so juicy you don't even need gravy... though I'm not skipping it lol. The addition of the skin thanks to YdaJun's Plant-Based Kitchen's recipe really sets this over the top.
Blackbeet BeefBy JenCraving a hearty meal? This recipe delivers! Black beans, beets, roasted mushrooms, and dark soy sauce bring the big, beefy flavor to this Blackbeet Beef from avocadosandales.com.
Seitan Lamb RoastBy JenThis recipe pairs a savory and tender roast seitan lamb with a tangy and flavorful yogurt mint sauce. For the full recipe method and more, go to theokievegan.com.
