Starch Water Beaf Jerky

I searched for years for a good vegan jerky recipe using any number of base ingredients. Then I saw the recipe for starch water bacon. It warned not to make the "pancakes" too thick, or it would be chewy. My brain immediately went to "let's do that on purpose but flavor the batter like jerky". SUCCESS! This is intensely flavored and closely mimics the texture and experience of jerky. I'm pretty sure you could use just about any seasoning you wanted with this recipe. I send a big hug and thank you to the creator of the starch water bacon!

Vegan hard boiled EGG

No one would ever know. How would they know? Try out these vegan hard-boiled eggs, yourself, and on your friends, and see them in disbelief. Can even tell them it's the 2022 Met Gala (for real, vegan boiled eggs were served!), and get fancy with it! Get jiggy with it! Use them for your deviled egg needs, add in seitan sandwiches, on maze plates... endless possibilities.

Pepperoni

This is it! This pepperoni has the firmness, the bite, the spiciness, and the texture of its non-vegan counterpart, and no one would ever know them apart. Made in the larger-than-life NYC pizza slice style, it satisfies all the cravings, having you come back for more.

Vegan Barbecue Coleslaw

There's a lot of coleslaw recipes out there, but what makes this one a little different is that it's mixed with barbecue sauce (and it's vegan, of course) making it the perfect side or topper for all your barbecue-style seitan sandwiches!

Black Garlic & Guinness Burgers

The addition of black garlic and Guinness, along with porcini mushrooms give this burger an earthy *meat* flavour. The addition of TVP gives the burgers a meaty texture. Black garlic is easy to make from fresh garlic bulbs. The easiest and less odorous way I've found is to pop them into roasting bags and put them into your slow cooker on a yogurt heating. It takes over a week, but it's much cheaper than buying them already made.

Beefless Stew

Nothing says comfort like a big bowl of hearty beef(less) stew. This recipe is really like two recipes in one - flavorful seitan chunks for any beefy dish, and a stew recipe that utilizes them perfectly. Plus you can easily freeze leftovers! Just set aside time to allow the seitan to rest for several hours or overnight in the fridge before making the stew.
